The Cruise Of Her Majesty's Ship 'Challenger' - Voyages Over Many Sea, Scenes In Many Lands, by W. J. J. Spry. With maps and illustrations. Published by Sampson Low, Marston, Searle & Rivington, London in 1880.

The volume has a Relfe Brothers, London leather binding with five raised bands, gilt stamped decoration and black title panel to the spine. The exterior shows shelf wear to the boards and extremities.

The interior has marbled endpapers and prize binding plate to the front pastedown dated '1882'. The pull-out map remains present, firmly affixed and in a good condition.
