Product Details
An attractive collection of 18th century carved fragments, two depicting cherubs and one depicting an angel; possibly from an altarpiece originally. All three pieces have hanging hooks to the rear for display.
The two cherubs are an original pair, mirrored in form. One cherub has closed eyes and appears at rest, the other has both eyes and mouth open. Both are framed by finely carved wings. The central angel is larger of form, with a passive expression and shoulders banded with wings.
All three pieces have knocks and wear commensurate with their age but remain very attractive with a lovely colour. Note the angel is more matte in appearance than the cherubs.
