Product Details
A very attractive 19th century mahogany concave-front side table, c.1880.
The table is very much in the George III taste, with later but historically appropriate brasses. The top boasts projecting corners with a single shaped frieze drawer flanked by fluted pilasters with stringed detailing all above four tapered fluted column legs.
There is a minor warp to the top causing the right hand projected corner to be slightly lifted from its base, otherwise the table is in a very good condition. The wood is of an exceptional colour throughout.
A striking piece of good proportions and unusual form.
