The Centennial Tripod 4 Series from The Colorado Tripod Company is ultralight and incredibly strong 4-series carbon fiber tripods available in either CNC machined aluminium or titanium.
The Centennial 4 Series tripod has a maximum height of 70 inches / 177.8 cm and a minimum height of only 2.5 inches / 6.35cm. That's nearly 50% closer to the ground than RRS, Gitzo and Induro.
The 4 Series is designed to eliminate excess metal from the apex and leg joints, reducing the total weight to only 4.7lbs / 2.13kg.
By incorporating the same, easy to sue, spring-loaded leg locks as our Centennial 2-Series, set up is fast and secure with one-handed operation
Centennial Tripod 2-Series
As tough as high-strength steel with 40% less weight, titanium's strength-to-weight and corrosion resistance is unrivalled.
To increase the performance of the Centennial 2-Series Titanium, Colorado have made the last leg section with a custom titanium tube to protect the carbon fiber. The result is dramatically increased corrosion resistance and a market improvement in stability.
