The City Loafer is the penny loafer at its smartest — a clean, tailored slip-on with the classic penny bar cut across the saddle and a raised apron seam stitched around the vamp. It's the shoe that moves between registers: sharp enough to sit under a suit, easy enough to wear with rolled chinos and no socks when the weather allows.
The uppers are our Italian bio-based vegan leather (62–66% plant-origin materials), with a soft grain and a slim, elegant last. Underfoot, a slim TR outsole is paired with a compressed Tunit heel (a hard-wearing rubber-resin compound) with a classic stacked finish, and a TR grip layer where it meets the ground — the traditional loafer silhouette with none of the traditional slip. The heel sits at 2.5cm with a fine 0.7cm sole under the toe, and a steel shank runs through the arch for stability and support.
Inside, Portuguese vegan suede (100% PU) lines the shoe, soft and breathable against the foot, and the cushioned layered insoles pair a soft memory foam top layer with a recycled PU base (20% recycled PU) for comfort through the day. Desk, dinner, wedding, weekend — this is the loafer that does the lot.
