A splendid vintage fibreglass and resin composite 1:100 scale promotional model of a Concorde in British Airways design for the supersonic aircraft known as the 'Landor' livery and mounted on original wood and metal base stand; circa 1990.
The famed Anglo-French supersonic passenger jet capable of cruising at twice the speed of sound (Mach 2, about 1,350 mph). Meaning that regular Concorde flights between London and New York took under 3½ hours. In November 1986 a British Airways Concorde flew around the world, covering 28,238 miles in 29 hours, 59 minutes!
