Denbies Pinot Noir 2019 Vineyard select

 A wonderful example of a cool climate Pinot noir English wine. The 2019 Pinot Noir was produced in a sterling year for Denbies. Grown on one of the Estate’s finest blocks, the prime bunches were handpicked over a single morning. The fruit was sorted with only the best grapes put forward to fermentation. After pressing, the wine evolved in oak barrels before being bottled in 2021.

Graceful in the glass, the nose exhibits notes of plump, late summer raspberries. The ripe fruit theme continues on the palate and runs to a spicy cinnamon finish.

As part of Denbies’ Vineyard Select range, this wine is made only in the best of seasons from 100% hand-picked Pinot Noir.

Food pairings: Perfect on its own but this Pinot Noir is equally exquisite with stuffed butternut squash or grilled tuna steak.
