Implants are the future of restorative dentistry. They effectively replace those inconvenient dentures with the next best thing to your own teeth.
For one or two missing teeth
What are dental implants?
A dental implant is a small but strong post made from biocompatible metals or ceramics. Under local anaesthetic, it is inserted into the jaw bone in place of the missing tooth root and acts as a support for the tooth.
The healing phase is between 6 and 12 weeks depending on the individual medical situation. During this period the implant becomes securely attached to the jaw bone - a process called osseo-integration. Once healed, this artificial root acts as a base for fixing individual crowns, multi-tooth bridges, or an entire denture for extra retention where the supporting bone is depleted.
Dental implants are a permanent solution to replacing lost teeth and, whilst they cost more than dentures, they need not be as expensive as you may think.
"Just a quick note to say thank you for the excellent treatment I received when I had my implant put in. I felt that I was in good hands and I was very impressed with the quality of Neil’s work. I recommend your establishment very highly and I look forward to receiving further treatment."
For multiple missing teeth
All-on-4 dental implants
If you have multiple missing teeth or if you have experienced some problems with your dentures then there is a fast and effective solution available. All-on-4 dental implants offers a fantastic solution that use just four implants to provide a non-removable arch of teeth in just one day. Its extremely popular and a great natural solution to real teeth.
All-on-4 benefits
By replacing missing teeth you can prevent the sucked-in look that may occur as your cheeks begin to sag due to older age. The All-on-4 treatment provides a permanent solution to missing teeth and as the implants fuse with a patient's natural jaw bone, they provide superb stability that you don't get with traditional dentures.
This means that you can say goodbye to denture adhesives and powders and speak and eat more easily. You no longer have to worry that your denture will become loose or fall out as you have permanent, non-removable teeth.
In addition this time saving treatment gives you beautiful teeth and smile with full and immediate functionality. There is often no need for bone-grafting too.
You Have Nothing to Lose
