These have been one of our most popular boots since they launched in 2015, now available in this insulated version — your super cosy companion down to freezing conditions. The styling is the classic six-inch work boot: chunky proportions, contrast stitching, a padded collar in a deeper tone, and that unmistakable silhouette that's been off the building site and on the high street for decades.
The warmth comes from PrimaLoft® insulation made with 90% recycled content, wrapped in a thick, soft vegan fur lining (100% recycled polyester) that runs all the way down to your toes. The uppers are onMicro® waterproof vegan leather (100% PU) — a breathable, PFC-free microfibre by Grupo Morón — with a PFC/PFA-free Spo-Tex® waterproof membrane and a tongue sealed to the uppers, so slush, rain, and gritted pavements stay on the outside.
You can get stuff done in these boots — they're good for both offroad treks and running about town. They have decent ankle support with padding around the collar, and metal eyelets with two speed hooks at the top of each boot (all 100% zamak, a durable zinc alloy) let you do them up tight, with extra-strong laces made from 100% recycled polyester. Underfoot, the chunky TR outsole made with 10% recycled TR will last years, its deep lugged tread giving traction from mud to pavements.
A really versatile winter boot — as happy on a frosty trail as they are with jeans and a big coat in town. Wear them with thick socks and walking trousers on the weekend, or straight-leg denim and a wool overcoat through the working week, and they'll look the part in both.
