Five millimetres of solid sterling silver, open at the front, with a wooden bead pressing into either end. At approximately 36 grams, the weight is almost entirely silver. You feel that on the wrist in a way the lighter pieces in the collection don't prepare you for. The wooden beads at the terminals are warm where the silver is cool. The contrast is felt as much as seen.
The piece in the Lana collection that makes itself known. Also available in a larger version in the Brier collection, the same concept made for a larger wrist.
Designer's Note
‘At 5mm solid silver this is the heaviest piece in the Lana collection. The wood beads at the terminals are small, but they're the reason the piece works. Without them it's just a very well-made torque. With them it's unmistakably Silverwood.’
