MakerBot Method Tough Precision Material is perfect for mid-stage prototypes due to its ease of use and office-friendly printing capabilities. The material is not only durable and pliable but also machinable, making it ideal for snap fits and assemblies. It boasts a heat deflection of 125-120°F (52-49°C), a flexural modulus of 377,000 psi (2,600 MPa), and a tensile strength at yield of 5,080 psi (35 MPa). The material also has a notched impact strength of 4.12 ft-lb/in (220 J/m) and a strain at yield elongation of over 52.7%.
MakerBot Method Tough Precision Material is available in four different part numbers:
