Product Details

Unusual wrythen bubble glass jug and matching pair of beakers all with a silver band to the rim, hallmarked Birmingham 1889/1890. Silver also stamped with makers mark for silversmiths, Hukin & Heath.

Wrythen glass is created by twisting external parallel groove or rib decoration during glass blowing to create a spiral pattern.

Dimensions:
Jug: 21.5 cm/8½ inches (height) x 8.5 cm/3⅜ inches (diameter).
Beakers: 12 cm/4¾ inches (height)) x 7.6 cm/3 inches (diameter).
