Designed as a multifunctional music centre for your desktop Hi-Fi system, Shanling EA5 works perfectly on its own or in combination with your other devices. Just insert a MicroSD card, attach a hard drive or connect the EA5 to your local Wi-Fi network and music will start. And all can be controlled remotely from an app on your phone.

Then there are two amplifiers hidden inside EA5. Shanling's standard headphone amplifier to power your audiophile headphones, and an Abletec Class-D amplifier for speakers. These features make the EA5 the perfect choice for a desktop setup where you might need to often switch between headphones and speakers.

Packed with complete connectivity the EA5 Music Centre can be used in any scenario. It can work as a dedicated DAC with a computer or other digital sources. It can be connected to a separate amplifier and used as a pure DAC or as a pre-amplifier. It can also work as a integrated amplifier, connected to separate DAC. It even works wirelessly with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, both as a receiver and as a source.

EA5 is equipped with a dedicated class-D speaker amplifier form Abletec. This Amplifier offer 2x 50W at 4 ohms output power, making it a matching solution for any bookshelf speaker and also smaller or more sensitive floor standing speakers.
