Shanling have worked on the premium ES9038Q2M based circuit and included a new amp circuit consisting of dual RT6863 amplification chips. UA2 Plus also includes Shanling’s in-house developed Ultra-Frequency Conversion technology that brings better power management to the series. Shanling UA2 Plus primarily brings four new upgrades over the OG UA2 Plus that greatly enhance its performance and promise a quality sound experience.

Updated Amplifier Chipset
Shanling has upgraded the amplification chipset with dual RT6863 amp chips. Earlier on the UA2, there was only a single RT6863. Two chips bring better amplification with ultra-low noise floor in the background. UA2 Plus now has lower output impedance making it a better companion for highly-sensitive IEMs and headphones.
Ultra-Frequency Black Conversion Technology
Shanling has developed a new Ultra-Frequency Black Conversion Technology for the UA2 Plus. This allows the UA2 Plus to adjust its power requirements according to the working conditions. UA2 Plus brings drastic improvements in power consumption over the predecessor model making it up to 60% more efficient.
Upgraded Balanced Output
Shanling has also replaced the 2.5mm balanced headphone output on the UA2 with the new 4.4mm headphone jack on the UA2 Plus. Most of the current IEMs and headphones use 4.4mm connections with their balanced cables making the UA2 Plus compatible with all the latest IEMs and headphones.
High-Precision Jitter Clock
Shanling UA2 Plus features a low-jitter high-precision clock for the audio circuitry. It promises a smoother experience with almost zero delays. Enjoy the high-quality audio performance for movies, music, and games.
Proper Hi-Fi DAC
ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M DAC chip can be found in multiple Hi-Fi portable players and desktop DACs, providing UA2 Plus with a sound quality significantly higher than any modern smartphone or standard USB headphone adapter.
Gaming Switch Mode
UA2 Plus was developed with a special mode that allows it to work with portable gaming consoles so you can enjoy your games with better sound quality and more power for your headphones.
