Inside, a Spo-Tex® waterproof membrane and a tongue sealed up to the top D-ring make these boots waterproof to the top D-ring — rain, puddles, wet trails and snow are no problem, though they're not suitable for full submersion, and water can enter over the top if you go deeper than the lacing. And the whole boot is PFC and PFA free, from the uppers to the membrane — full weather protection without the forever chemicals.
Underfoot, deep-lug rubber-injected Vibram® outsoles deliver exceptional grip and stability across rocky paths and muddy terrain — the Vibram technology keeps you sure-footed wherever the trail leads. Inside, a round toe box, padded tongue and cushioned ankle collar pair with removable sports insoles for all-day comfort, with the supportive structure reducing fatigue on long days — crucial on multi-day hikes where ankle support matters. The fit is our D width — a little wider with more volume than most brands — giving your feet room to work without ever feeling loose.
